Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
“It's great to welcome you to our school. At Wentworth PS we strive to create a supportive environment for every child to thrive. Our school values of Respect, Safety, and Persistence underpin all that we do.
Our school has amazing resources, excellent programs and high expectations for all students to succeed. Along with strong, explicit teaching in literacy and numeracy, students have a variety of extra curricluar activities including kitchen garden, cooking, sport, library, dance and music, which provides a well rounded education for the whole child.
As part of the wider NSW Department of Education, we have access to system-wide curriculum and personnel resources to support your child. We look forward to welcoming you and your family into our school community.”
Joel Wilson, Principal of Wentworth Public School
