Student opportunities and activities

We offer a range of co-curricular programs to support student's goals both inside and outside of the classroom.

Bell times

Students should arrive at school from 9:00am when formal supervision begins, unless they arrive on the bus. Before 9:00am the students are expected to sit outside the office and wait for the playground teacher. School begins at 9.25am.

Hot Lunches

At present the school does not operate a school canteen.  However, delicious hot lunches are available every Friday for $6.50 through an external supplier.  At present there is one option that changes each week.  Orders need to be placed in the school office before 3:15pm on Thursday.

Parent portal

At Wentworth Public School we use the Sentral parent portal app to make communication and administration streamlined for families. These tools help you:

• make payments quickly and securely
• view academic reports
• stay up to date with school events
• record absences.
• read the newsletter

Uniform

All children are encouraged to wear school uniform.  The school has polo shirts, windcheaters, shorts, and track pants available at a very reasonable price.  Order forms are available from the office.

All items of clothing should have the student’s name clearly written.  It’s suggested that names be written on the brim of hats and on the hem of jumpers, as tags can be torn off.
